Community Development

The Town Clerk oversees our Community Development, which provides building, code enforcement, and planning / development services in a professional and friendly manner to enhance and protect the quality of life, sense of community, well-being and prosperity of our residents, businesses and visitors.

In addition, this important department ensures construction and development activities comply with the following:

• Latest building codes
• Land Development Code
• Comprehensive Plan
• All the while maintaining enforcement of ordinances and regulations.

Havana partners with Gadsden County Economic Development and the Gadsden Florida Development Council to encourage and facilitate growth, economic development, and prosperity to all.
